The CT's have been developed and tested
by Flight Design's own engineers who are proud
of an aircraft which meets a high level of
un-compromised safety. This state-of-the-art
aircraft has been certified to 3 international
airworthiness standards which adds to its
credibility. The structure of the CT is over
90% carbon fiber and Kevlar®, which provides
superior pilot and passenger protection. The
conception of the engine mounts and the strong
construction of the cockpit cell prevent engine
penetration into the area. The fuselage is
designed to absorb a large amount of energy,
which decreases the shock loading on the occupants
who are held in their seat by four-point harnesses.
The CT has a tested break-load of 7.2 g and
passed the ground flex testing in order to
confirm its flutter safety. |
